Friends of Clandonald Sustainablity Foundation

Formed in 2014, the inspiration for this Foundation grew from the community's undying support for our local school. Over the years, seemingly each generation has had to band together and fight to keep the school in our community. We believe that the School is a cornerstone of our community, and we need to make a longterm commitment to ensure it remains viable.

Our mission is simple "Grow the Community, Grow the School"

We are proud of our efforts, and have several more projects are underway.

We have launched this website, to promote our vibrant community.

We offer After-school Care toaccommodate any families that are commuting out of town for work.

We volunteered and raised funding from outside the commuity to help support our local seniors group "Clandonald Friendship Club" who continue to contribute to our community and school in so many ways. They regularly volunteer to provide "hot lunch" for the school children, as well as teach them many crafts, sewing, crotchet, while supplying all the materials.

We arecommittedto expanding our community. We purchased a 3 bedroom manufactured home, and set it up on a lot in town. This home was renovated and offered for sale, turning a once empty lot to a home for a family new to our community.

We have donated funds to the school on an annual basis. These funds provide much neededresources to support the hands on learning experience that Clandonald School excells at providing our children.

In March of 2018, our group organized our first St. Patricks Day Dinner and Dance, featuring a traditonal Irish menu, Irish Dancers, Local Entertainment, and of course Green Beer!

Welcome packages are provided to all new members to the community. If you have ideas on what to include, we want to hear it. New to town, send us an email and we will hook you up with a welcome package. If you know of someone who is new to the area, please let us know.

Our Foundation is looking for involvement. If you would like to join us, have any ideas, questions, or would like to help out in any way please contact us.
